The gods and goddesses are bored. It has been a long time since people believed in them. Now the gods are forced to watch these people live their humdrum lives. What happened to the days when they were feared and praised? The days where there would be festivals in their honour, so that they would not meddle in the lives of these humans? What they wouldn’t do to have those days back.

It is then that the goddess Pandora comes up with an idea. Why not drag these poor souls from different worlds and place them in a world of her own design? Perhaps this would teach them to believe again. Also, it would give the gods and goddesses a chance to intervene in everyone’s lives once again. What fun.

Oh, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Every soul that has been dragged to Pandora on will find a sin or virtue branded on their skin. The brand will depend on what sin/virtue sticks out in their personality. And not only will it be branded on them, but this little character trait will be brought to the forefront of their personality.

Good and bad, light vs dark, oh my what fun we will have.

7 Sins and Virtues

Each person chosen has been gifted with one thing- a sin or a virtue that they already posses brought to the forefront of their personalities. The chosen aspect is branded on the persons chest for everyone to see, everyone to know.

However, you don’t just live in Pandora, you find your match- be it romantically, skilfully or otherwise. You match with one person and one person only, sins with virtues and virtues with sins.

You can’t have peace without chaos.

History |Touko led a normal life. Lived in a normal house in a small town with her mother. However, her life changed when she was given a gift from Professor Juniperr. From the fated encounter, Touko began her life as Pokemon trainer. Once again, her life returned to a fairly normal state. Most teenagers often began their Pokemon trainer career at this age, so it had been nothing all too special. After approaching a scary group of pokemon liberalists who dubbed themselves Team Plasma, Touko began her journey to stop the group, no matter what it takes. Eventually, she meets N. The leader of Team Plasma, who she finds quite difficult to deal with. Little by little, she begins to realize that N isn’t the bad person she made him out to be in the first place. As there final battle draws near, Touko prepares herself, and even acquires the legendary pokemon Reshiram. After defeating N, she discovers that his uncle, Ghetsis, had been brainwashing him all along. After that, N departs, leaving Touko hearbroken. |

Personality |Touko is a very sweet girl. She cares for everyone, and is very determined to make things right. She tends to be the heroine in situations, always coming to the rescue. Touko has a slight problem with her anger, however her steadfast self-control often keeps herself in check. She likes simple things, often finding comfort in things such as her bed or the sky. She’s very loyal, honourable, and has lots of self-control. She likes to bring justice to everything, and always finds a way to justify even the worst of people. |

Hi, um... I'm thinking of joining a group, and this one looks really interesting, but I don't understand how the sins/virtues work. I don't think my character is developed enough for me to choose one, and then it sounds like I would have to change his personality around it, which scares me... I've had a lot of trouble already from trying to force things too hard... So this might be a bad idea? Or am I misunderstanding how things work here?

Basically how it works is just choosing one you think fit your character best. It doesn’t have to encompass their entire personality, and I know from experience that it’s really hard to pin some characters down, but just one that sort of fits them, if you get me? As for the changing his personality around, I’ve actually been meaning to update that bit of the premise a little. It shouldn’t be the be all and end all, and definitely shouldn’t wind up with you completely changing your character just to pigeonhole him, just something to bear in mind while you roleplay, you know? Like the character I roleplay here has Pride as his sin, so I play up his preoccupation with himself a little more than I normally would but other than that I try to keep him pretty close to canon.

What I’d do is take a long hard look at how he act in his canon setting, and then take a look at the wikipedia articles for the sins and the virtues. (the sins article is really long oh man I’m sorry). Especially the virtues article gives a really great rundown of some of the character traits associated with each virtue, so that could be helpful. (Also it’s totally fine to change your chosen sin or virtue if you end up disagreeing with the one you chose, just as long as you let me know if you change it from a sin to a virtue or vice versa so I can update your housing)

Man I really hope this is actually more helpful than I think it is I’m terrible at explaining everything. If this wasn’t helpful just say so I’ll try and explain myself better!

Though for the most part they mind themselves and keep to their respective islands, occasionally the great dragon Tenebris and the phoenix Lumen have a mid air duel to prove to the other that they’re more than a match for them.

For the people living in the Box, this isn’t a fun time. Those on Lumen can expect sudden flashes of blinding light as Lumen flies about the island, and should be wary of any flaming feathers dropped from his wings. Tenebris should expect deafening thunder as the dragon roars, and deadly gusts of wind as he flaps his wings. Umbra is mostly unaffected, save for the statue of Pandora seeming to wear a look of annoyance in place of the ambiguous smile normally seen.

This is a mini event and will run until the 23rd.

Character Name || Serenity Wheeler

Abilities || Athletic: In the anime, Serenity seems to be quite athletic. She dives into the ocean to save her brother from drowning with little to no trouble. When she was set upon by a monster in the Virtual World Arc, it seemed to have been chasing her for quite a while before it was distracted, and she seemed not to be too out of breath by the time she managed to escape.

Duelist: Serenity is a beginner at the game of Duel Monsters. So far she was won her first and only duel against Nezbitt, who tried to steal her body. She is learning to duel, but more as a hobby, she doesn’t intend to take part in any tournaments.

History || Serenity and her older brother Joey were separated by their parents divorce when she was about 7 years old. Born with bad eyes, her sight gradually deteriorated over the years until she was almost completely blind. However, her sight was saved by the prize money her brother won at the Duelist Kingdom tournament.

When her brother had been brainwashed by Marik, she rescued him from drowning after removing the bandages and regaining her sight. She then hung around with Joey and his friends for the remainder of the Battle City tournament. While heading to the finals, she and her friends were kidnapped and forced to Duel to keep their bodies. She won a 3-on-1 duel against Nezbitt after her friend Tristan sacrificed himself for her.

She also watched her brother fall against his enemy Marik and fight for his life, and was there to break the bad news that he had failed to save their friend Mai after he woke up.

After Battle City ended, she returned home to her mother.

Personality || Serenity is a sweet young girl, who is kind and gentle and full of optimism. However, she is very stubborn and willful, and has a tendency to get in over her head, especially if she thinks it’ll impress her brother of friends. Despite hardships, she never lets them get her down for too long, and will always get up after she’s been knock down, literally and figuratively.
